Currently I'm working on a side project for a friend of mine, Professor Popin Jay. He is in the process of publishing a book and has asked me to illustrate for him. The pay is terrible but the hours are good. At this time I am roughly 1/4 of the way done with his book. My main goal in this project is to improve my skills as an artist. My speed with my art and the accuracy with my pen has improved tremendously. Overall I feel like this project has been good practice at branching outside of what I would normally draw and has allowed me to exercise with poses and concepts that I haven't though of. Life changes things. 10 years ago I was going to be a comic book artist. 5 years ago I was going to be a film director. 3 years ago I went to school for nursing. Now I'm an active licensed nurse who actively draws and creates comics/conceptual art for fun.  In the last 5 years I've been in commercials, made several short fan films. I also got married to my best friend and have a wonderful three year old daughter. My wife and daughter have become my universe and I take great pleasure in their company. I love my life and can't wait to begin my next art project. Till next time...

So it's been a long time since I've done anything with my page and I know I keep saying hey I'll do more stuff but why lie...I think it will always take forever to post for me. Anyways life is great, I have a wonderful girlfriend who I spend time with everyday. My brother's getting married in September and my sister next June. Life gets crazy sometimes and I guess I should jump on that wagon too XD
